Operation Anzu

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is working closely with Staffordshire Police on its on-going investigation, ‘Operation Anzu’.  The police are looking into concerns about the appropriateness of care provided by an individual who worked in the NHS and previously worked at Royal Stoke University Hospital.  This individual no-longer works at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

We have written to a number of families about the care they or their family member received and we have advised them to speak to the Police.

We have set up a dedicated hospital helpline 01782 672540 for any patient and guardian who may have concerns.

You may wish to contact The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) on 0800 328 0904 or email help@nspcc.org.uk.  This is a service for both children and adults.

Any media enquires please contact our press office: email: communications2@uhnm.nhs.uk or Tel: 01782 676644.
