Operation Anzu

UHNM has fully cooperated with Staffordshire Police and relevant authorities throughout their investigation as part of Operation Anzu.

Nathaniel Spencer was a former resident doctor (formerly known as junior doctor) who worked at the Trust between August 2017 and August 2020.

On Friday 5 December, he was charged with 45 sexual offences.

As this is an ongoing criminal process, we cannot comment further at this time but we would like to reassure the public that the safety and well-being of our patients and their relatives are our highest priority.
