Itraconoazole (pre, post or random)

Department: Virology and Molecular Microbiology

Requirement:

Routine in 1st week of therapy, measure 4-7 days after starting therapy.

Repeat samples if:

• lack of clinical response
• gastro-intestinal dysfunction
• co-medication

Turnaround Time:

24-48 hours depending when samples received by laboratory.
