Exercise
Breathing exercises: Sit upright, relax shoulders, slow deep breath, hold 3 sec, breathe out. Repeat 5 times, 4 times a day.

- Wear comfy shoes and loose clothes.
- Try to do 30 minutes of gentle exercise most days.
Good choices include:
- Brisk walking
- Cycling or pedal bike
- Marching on the spot
- Seated marching if you need extra support
- Stop and rest if you feel dizzy or too out of breath.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Always warm up before you start and cool down after.
Small steps make you stronger for surgery.
