Sodexo at UHNM receives gold award at RoSPA Health and Safety Awards
The Sodexo team at University Hospitals of North Midlands have been awarded the ninth consecutive gold award at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.
The gold award acknowledges a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards recognises an organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work. The awards have almost 2,000 entries every year, covering nearly 50 countries and a reach of over seven million employees, making it one of the most sought-after achievement awards in the Health and Safety industry.
Team members were invited to attend the awards evening and gala dinner to represent Sodexo at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Oliver Pritchard, Head of Soft Services for Sodexo at UHNM said: “We are delighted to be awarded our ninth consecutive gold award. It is so important to ensure safety on site and it is always our priority. To receive this award recognises the work we continue to do every day to make UHNM a safe place for our colleagues and patients.”
