Important Patient Information: Historic Letters Sent in Error

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) would like to make you aware of an issue following a routine system upgrade that took place over the weekend.

Unfortunately, due to a technical error, some patients have been sent historic letters in error. These letters may relate to previous appointments, test results, or earlier communications that may have already been shared with you in the past.

We understand that receiving unexpected correspondence like this may be worrying or confusing. We are very sorry for any concern or upset this may have caused, and we appreciate your understanding.

If you are unsure about a letter you have received, or would like some reassurance, our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is here to help.
