Caring well for your relative or friend at the end of their life is very important to us. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any questions or concerns, no matter how insignificant you think they may be.

The comfort packs have been kindly provided and packed by Blythe Bridge High School with support from UHNM charity. The aim of the pack is to provide items to support relatives during the hospital stay. It includes toiletries, a note book and pen, and organza bag to put items that may be important to patients such as jewellery. Please speak to a member of staff if you would like to discuss any of the items

The Purple Bow Scheme has been funded by the UHNM Charity thanks to generous donations from former patients, staff and relatives. More information can be found by visiting or by calling 01782 676444.

Having a serious illness or caring for someone who does can have a big impact on your life. You may have gone through challenges, changes and many different emotions. It can be helpful to tell the story of your experience.

One of our team can visit to listen and develop your story. We will help you get your message across with clarity and compassion. You may want to tell your story just for you and your family. Your story could also be used to help us understand your experience and improve the care we give.

If you want your story to be used to help improve healthcare services it will be anonymised and would only be shared with your agreement.
