Head and neck trauma encompasses injuries to the head, face, and neck, ranging from minor to severe. These injuries can be caused by various factors including falls, sports accidents, motor vehicle collisions, and interpersonal violence.

Minor oral surgery involves a range of procedures, typically performed under local anaesthetic, that involve surgical interventions in the mouth. These procedures are often less complex and involve a shorter recovery time compared to major oral surgeries. Common examples include wisdom teeth removal, removal of impacted teeth, apicoectomies and biopsies.

The Poswillo dental suite offers a range of surgical procedures to be carried out under a general aneasthetic or sometimes local aneasthetic, the detal suite is a theatre setting with a shorter waiting list than our main theatres. Patients need to meet a certain criteria i.e medical conditions, age and smoking status to be treated within this setting, and is generally used to treat peadiactric cases.
