Dr E Karabulut

Dr Esra Karabulut graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 2004 and completed her ophthalmology training in 2010 at Ankara Training and Research Hospital, with a special interest in paediatric ophthalmology. She worked as a consultant ophthalmologist in government and private settings between 2010 and 2020, achieving FEBO and FICO qualifications. After moving to the UK in 2020, she obtained GMC registration and continued working as an ophthalmology Specialty Doctor. In 2024, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

She is married with three children and enjoys reading, cooking, and collecting bone china.
