I joined the trust in 2005 following ophthalmology training in Manchester and running my own local optical practice

My special interest is Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Laser and Ophthalmic imaging. As well as running the Diabetic Retinopathy Service, I also run the Ophthalmic Ultrasound clinic within the department

I am keen to use technology to efficiently deliver patient care and have set up several successful virtual clinics within the department, including hydroxychloroquine retinopathy

I also have an interest in community eye care and am Clinical Lead for the Staffordshire and Shropshire Diabetic Eye Screening Programme as well as currently being Clinical lead for this department

I am currently the trust Appraisal lead and have had an interest in appraisal, revalidation and professional development
