I have a wide ranging orthopaedic practice. Emergency work includes management of complex trauma including pelvic and acetabular fractures, complex articular fractures, children's fractures and dislocations and bone and joint infection.

Elective work includes reconstruction of congenital deformity in children and young adults, limb length equalisation, post traumatic limb reconstruction and management of the consequences of neuromuscular disease such as cerebral palsy. I treat children and young adults with conditions such as club foot, congenital dislocation of the hip and hip dysplasia, and foot and ankle problems including adolescent hallux valgus, utilising a range of surgical therapies to correct musculoskeletal problems in the upper and lower limb, such as external fixation, intramedullary nailing (including lengthening nails), hip preservation arthroplasty, arthroscopy, osteotomy and internal fixation. As part of the children's orthopaedic department I assist with the screening, surveillance and conservative management of developmental dysplasia of the hip in high risk infants and advice on the non-surgical management of normal anatomical variation.
