Dr Marilyn Browne has a special interest is orthogeriatrics and delivers three sessions per week to patients with fractured neck of femur. She also runs a Rapid Access Clinic for older patients on a Wednesday morning, which enables the Trust to be able to provide a comprehensive review of older patients. Her aim is to continue to improve the quality of care that older people receive at University Hospitals of North Midlands​ and to work collaboratively with others to ensure that geriatrician input into acute and community settings are developed to meet the changing needs of these patients.
