National Day of Reflection

National Day of Reflection

Today marks one year to the day of the UK's first Covid-19 lockdown. Communities across the country are being encouraged to reflect on this day, remembering those who have lost their lives to the pandemic and whose families, friends and loved ones have been forever affected by the events of the past 12 months.

We have organised brief ceremonies in our Contemplation Gardens at both royal Stoke and County Hospitals to remember our own staff in particular who have lost their lives due to Covid-19.

The services will be live streamed via our Facebook page from Royal Stoke at 11:50am and County Hospital at 2:30pm.

We will also be marking a minutes silence at 12 noon and if you would like to join in and are able to, please do so from wherever you are.
