Physiotherapists will aim to see you as soon as possible after your operation.

They aim to help you with any respiratory or mobility issues you may develop post operatively. This will by encouraging you to move, deep breathe and cough after your operation to prevent a chest infection.

They will help to empower you to become independent with your exercise programme throughout your journey.

This will help to prevent post operative complications and get you discharged from hospital quicker.
