UHNM welcomes Jacqui Rock, NHS Chief Commercial Officer
Wards and departments from across University Hospitals of North Midlands have welcomed Jacqui Rock, Chief Commercial Officer for NHS England.
Ms Rock visited Royal Stoke University Hospital to meet with divisions from the Trust to discuss on-going and upcoming key initiatives for the future.
Organised by the Nathan Joy-Johnson, Group Director of Procurement, discussions took place with the UHMM executive team, Estates, Facilities and PFI and the Procurement and Commercial team.
The team took Jacqui on a tour of the site visiting ward 128, the new £4.3 million respiratory ward which recently opened, treating patients with cystic fibrosis, COPD and asthma, followed by a roof top visit to see the progress of the new car park.
Nathan Joy-Johnson, Group Director of Procurement, said: “To have Jacqui and senior regional NHSE colleagues take time out to visit the Trust and show an interest in UHNM and the organisations represented by the North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group is a real positive for all involved. Jacqui and colleagues were extremely complimentary throughout the visit which is ultimately a credit to each and every one of our team members that help us to deliver all aspects of the Procurement and Estates agenda at a local, regional and national basis.
