Appointment Letters – Royal Mail Strikes

Over the next six weeks there will be a period of planned Royal Mail strikes, which may prevent us from getting your appointment letter or planned operation letter to you in time.

During this time if we do not contact you by phone, you may receive a text message from us to confirm you have an appointment. If you don’t hear from us, you should assume that your appointment is still going ahead.

If you are concerned about a planned operation please contact your consultant secretary to discuss next steps. For any Outpatient appointment queries, please contact 01782 676676.

If you receive a letter saying that you didn’t attend your appointment, but you didn’t receive the original appointment letter, please contact the number on your letter and your appointment will be rearranged.
