A County Hospital receptionist rewarded for her “beautiful disposition”

A County Hospital receptionist has been thanked for her “beautiful disposition” and unselfish manner. Patients and colleagues have expressed their appreciation for Charisse Fletcher, who works in the outpatients department.

Debbie Elliott, junior sister in the outpatients department, said: “Charisse has the most beautiful disposition in her role as a receptionist and everything else she does. She goes above and beyond to help others whether they are work colleagues, patients or relatives. She's kind and caring in her mannerism and everyone notices and comments on this.

“Nothing asked of her is too much trouble, she stays late and starts early and has a face and a smile anyone coming into our hospital feels automatically better for when greeted by her. Charisse is quiet and acts so unselfishly and deserves to be recognised for the wonderful person she is.”

Tracy Bullock, Chief Executive, said: “It was lovely to her the reasons behind Charisse’s  nomination and I particularly want to thank her for the care and compassion that she has shown to her colleagues, patients and their families, going above and beyond to help them and put people at ease.”

Charisse has been given the Employee of the Month award in celebration of her dedication.
