In addition to a corporate induction and preceptorship package, the cardiothoracic department at UHNM offers extensive development and training opportunities, which ensure that our staff are highly skilled and able to provide optimal patient care. Once you complete the required national competencies there are opportunities for further development depending on which career pathway you choose. The Trust Organisational Development programmes enable staff to become effective leaders, whilst there are also opportunities to study leadership programmes at Higher Education Institutes at both BSc or MSc level.
