Heath, Peter

Dr Peter Heath has been a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology at University Hospitals of North Midlands​ since 1989 and presently holds a part-time contract providing specialist EMG clinics for the investigation of nerve and muscle disease. Before becoming a consultant Dr Heath undertook training posts in Newcastle and Southampton and research in Oxford. He has held various national positions including President of The British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Physicians responsible for UK training in the specialty.
