Children say thank you to County Hospital staff

Children of Barnfields Primary School in Stafford have written letters to thank staff at County Hospital for their hard work during the Coronavirus outbreak. The hospital received more than 20 letters from year six pupils recently.

Comments included:

“Thank you, thank you for all that you are doing day and night. Last year my nan was taken very poorly and you took such special care of her. You are all such special people doing an incredible job…”

“I am writing to thank you for what you’ve done. Even when you can’t go on, you do, so thank you for all your hard work and effort.”

“You are working long and hard shifts and because of you, we are fighting this virus. I cannot thank you enough for what you are doing!”

Staff from the school wrote:

“A huge thank you for the tireless work you are doing in the current climate. We rely so much on the NHS in our country, but recent events have only highlighted this more and opened everyone’s eyes in terms of what an important and crucial group of people you are.”
