I have been performing laparoscopic colorectal surgery since 1991 and performed the first TEM in the UK in 1993.

I have been a Council Member of ALS, RSM Sections of Coloproctology ( 2nd term of Office 2013- present), Clinical Section (previous President) and Council member of the Surgical Section of the BSG and an AAC Advisor to the RCS England.

I am a faculty member of the European EndoSurgical Institute and European Institute of Telesurgery, Strasbourg.
