Beryl Woodall, Deputy Coo
Nomination: Beryl Woodall, Deputy Chief Operating Officer
Beryl may be part of the executive team but her support on a daily basis was recognised in the receipt of an Employer of Month Award for her hard work and commitment to the Trust, in staff and patients best interest. Beryl was nominated because even when not on duty, she it on duty. An example of this is, near on every weekend Beryl joins the corporate calls to ensure the Trust is staffed and patient risk is mitigated. She carries out actions in the background to support the teams as well as ensuring patient safety and experience across both hospitals is paramount and at the forefront of all we do.
Wellbeing of staff is a big part of the Trust's values and Beryl always makes staff feel supported and listened to and when it’s tough that goes along way. Staff feeling appreciated helps them to get through some difficult periods.
