What do you do on a daily basis?

"My job consists of assisting with the day to day running of clinical trials and ensuring correct, accurate data is recorded to be sent to the respective medical organisations."

Why do you enjoy your job?

"It is good to see the real world applications of these trials and studies having an impact in the real world."

What’s it like to be a part of the research team at UHNM?

"It is very interesting to work in a variety of topics and areas that can differ from day to day."

How important are clinical trials?

"Clinical trials are important to discover and assess new medical treatments and procedures to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness before opening them up to widespread use. This was particularly seen in the RECOVERY trial that helped to explore new treatments for Covid-19."
