Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists will be involved in your care from day 1 after your operation all the way through to your discharge. They aim to get you moving as soon as possible after your operation and help with any respiratory or mobility issues you may develop post operatively.  They will aim to facilitate and empower you to become independent with your exercise programme. They will be encouraging you to deep breathe and cough after your operation to prevent a chest infection.
