Our directorate Modern Matrons are there to provide a central point of contact for both staff and patients. They lead by example, demonstrating to other nurses the high standards of care NHS patients can expect. They take responsibility for driving up standards of care and leading work to improve professional practice and patient services. They set and monitor standards and take action to ensure that specifications are met. They act quickly to deal with problems and work closely with the Trust’s Complaints team and the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS).
