Mrs Hall's areas of expertise include colorectal and anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, intestinal failure, complex abdominal wall reconstruction for both fistulae and herniation, laparoscopic surgery, adolescent surgery and lower GI endoscopy.

Mrs Hall is also an active participant in the general on call rota including abdominal trauma and has a major interest in all complex colorectal problems, both benign and malignant, supported by periods of specialist training in both Singapore and St Marks hospital, London.

She is fully trained in colorectal laparoscopic surgery and enjoys teaching, and lecturing at national and international scientific meetings.
