Dr Nicholas Coleman is a full time Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and the Associate Medical Director with responsibility for revalidation. His clinical interest is in critical care echocardiography, and managerially he is involved in developing the Trust's strategy for revalidation, improving standards of appraisal within the Trust and in maintaining high professional standards amongst doctors. He is a clinical member of the Independent Reconfiguration Panel, an organisation that advises the secretary of state for health on major service change.
