Dr Murray Brunt qualified from Westminster Medical School in 1983 and was appointed a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at University Hospitals of North Midlands in 1991. He is a nationally recognised expert in the management of breast cancer and as a clinical researcher. In addition he is the Lead Oncologist for skin cancer and for twenty years the Oncologist on the Lymphoma Team. Murray has contributed to over sixty cancer trials, usually as the Principal Investigator for North Staffordshire and with a leading role on over ten national and international trials including as Chief Investigator. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Keele University and has played a leading role in the development of cancer services, including the first Director of Cancer Services and Clinical Lead of the Cancer Trials Unit in 1997.
