​Dr John Ayuk trained in the West Midlands, completing a Research Fellowship in Endocrinology and being awarded an MD at the University of Birmingham. His research interests include the pathogenesis, management and outcome of pituitary tumours. He is a member of the International Acromegaly Consensus Guideline Group and Chair of the UK Acromegaly Register Steering Committee. He also holds the post of Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
